ATO — Approved Training Organisation
Classic Air is an EASA Approved Training Organisation (ATO) specialised in single-engine turboprop aircraft training. Appointed by Daher as its preferred training partner in Europe, Classic Air delivers structured, manufacturer-aligned flight training programmes for the TBM and Kodiak aircraft families.
Our mission is to provide aircraft owners, operators, and professional pilots with the highest standard of class-rating training — ensuring they operate these high-performance turboprops at their maximum level of safety and proficiency. Every course we deliver reflects the operational philosophy and technical guidance of the aircraft manufacturer.
Classic Air offers a comprehensive training portfolio covering every stage of a turboprop pilot’s development:
Classic Air delivers training throughout Europe and beyond. Our instructors hold multiple regulatory qualifications spanning EASA, FAA, and UK CAA frameworks, enabling us to serve an international clientele regardless of their licence-issuing authority.
Training can be arranged at the client’s home base, at partner airfields, or at our own facilities in the French Pyrenees. This flexibility ensures minimal disruption to operators while maintaining the full rigour of an approved training programme.
Daher — the manufacturer of both the TBM and Kodiak aircraft — has selected Classic Air as its preferred partner for delivering training services across these two product lines. This official partnership goes beyond a simple endorsement: our training programmes are developed collaboratively with Daher’s flight operations team, incorporating the latest operational guidance, technical bulletins, and manufacturer best practices.
This direct relationship ensures that Classic Air students receive training content that is always current, manufacturer-approved, and aligned with the highest safety standards in the industry.
